POSITION: Quality Assurance Engineer

Suite 740, Charlotte, NC 28202
Develop automated test scripts and manual test cases and help design and build an automated testing framework for a Collateral Management system and Trading Platform using Agile Methodology to test and deploy bug free code.
Primary job duties will include:
• Create, implement, and execute manual and automated projects (70% manual, 30% automated)
• Develop and review test plans and execute test scenarios using Selenium WebDriver and TestNG.
• Build Test Infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines (continuous integration/continuous delivery/deployment).
• Automate build and deployment process with Jenkins and Maven
• Test RESTful API’s using POSTMAN (REST is an acronym for Representational State Transfer; API is an Application Programming Interface; Postman is a scalable API testing tool. The POSTMAN application interface can be used for reading, writing and deleting the contents in API using client HTTP).
• Review requirements and acceptance criteria for testability; collaborate with the IT Application Delivery team to determine the most effective testing strategy
• Identify and direct root cause analysis of issues and clearly communicate findings
• Utilize strong defect identification and triaging skills and coordinate with appropriate resources to ensure proper tracking and resolution of all defects
• Research and proactively recommend improvements for testing tools and techniques
Minimum Qualifications
Education: U.S. or Foreign Equivalent BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
Experience: 2 years professional experience as a QA Analyst/Tester with both Manual and Automated testing
